that is terrible. But that is what happens in war... i mean we cant dwell on it. Sometimes war is nessesary. but anywasy.... i dont think thats what whatsherface meant when she said it was great... i think she meant that it was awesome taht you have someone that you can talk to like taht.

well to go on with WWII- well we're reading a book called Night by Elie Wiesel.

well the autheor survived the holocaust and was sent to Auschwitz and this one guy was strong so they gave him the job of putting the dead bodies in the crematory and he had to pout his own FATHER in the crematory.... its vey sad

So sad. I probably couldn't do it ..
I can also talk about WW2 with my grandpa .. He always says he helped people from his family to hide because they were in the resitance ( He was then like 14)
my other grandpa doesn't want to talk about WW2
The only thing I know about it, is that he probably fought for England then ( He was then like 18-20 or something ). And he had the belgian/english nationality .. That's what my dad says ..

I'm now reading the book: "The horse whisperer" and that because they are saying the book is better than the movie and now I really want to know if that is true

horse whisperer is a cool movie

thtboysahunk- FUNNY! but in reality they would get shot... yeah the book night is kinda not for little kiddies... its kinda graphic in some ways... like they had to look in the eyes on a little boy they hanged who was still alive...

yeah my grandpa was in WWII too - he was stationed in england but he died just recently... he would only talk about the better stuff than the war....
