jake ran in the back door and grabbed me to keep me away from danger

"Whats wrong with him?" jake asked. "I have never seen him like this." he said.
I just broke down crying, i couldnt take it. I didnt know why will was acting so stupid....over nothing, it had to be more. but what?

i kept crying. "we fought,all day yesterday and then this morning.he doesn`t want me to date you cause everything horrible happens to him"

Jake just held me, his hands stroking my back.
"Hes going thro a hard time right now. And he doesnt want to let his younger sis go. I had a talk with him yesterday...and he sounded alll upset about something. He kept on bringing up some persons name. But im sure he will be ok." he reasured.

i tightened my grip on Jake's shoulders and pushed his face to about six inches from mine. my eyes widened and i asked him "who's name did he say???"

he said "i don`t know,some person named...sarah veronica." i said "that`s my first name and my middle name!" and burst into more tears

"WHat else did he say?"
"I'm sure if it was about you you wouldnit want to hear about it. we should get out of here"

he started walking,but i pulled him back "tell me what he said!please!" he said "alright,alright"

he said he doesnt want to lose this sarah veronica person and he'd rather die than let her go. but he said he knows she's moving on.

i rolled my eyes "he`s lying!i know it!he never lets me move on!"

"no, i seriously thinks he cares for you and your well being." said jake as he gently lifted my fallen chin.

he kissed me short and sweet on the lips and put his arm around me

i placed my head against him and closed my eyes.

Jake made me feel better, and not like the whole worlds problems where on my shoulders.

although i knew the problems were still there it was like there was a bubble or protective covering surrounding me when jake held on to me

"Come on, i think we have something to do." jake said, taking my hands into his. "What?"
"We are going to fix this arguement."

"oh no! no jake, i can't. i don't want to talk to him. please!" i pleaded.

"i'm sorry. i know it will be hard but it is much better than letting it bottle up inside and it ruin your relationship with your brother. now come on!" said jake as he pulled me behind him!

I tried to pull away, but two things were making me go forward.
1. jake was pulling me.
2. My feelings were pulling me.
and then there was me pulling the other way. tht wasnt much against one, and definitly not against two.

i walked slowly towards will and looked at the ground. Will... i said. he pushed my chin up and looked me in the eyes. he crossed his arms gently. yes, yn. he said. i wished i could back out of talking to him again and i looked back at Jake and he nudged me on with a nod.

"umm.. Will? we need to talk!" i said.

"go on." said will firmly but with a gentle tone in his voice.
