we btoh decided that this wasnt gonna work so will pushed me under the water and we stayed there until we thought the guy had passed us. Then we heard a plane. we jumped up out of the water so fast you would have thought we were on top of Ole Faithful!
we started screaming and flopping around like fish out of water and waving our hands wildly and looking like complete idiots, just trying to get the plane's attention!

and we did! they had difficulties but they landed on a sand strip on the island.
