I followed him, still staying in the shadows though. "Hey! You! Have you seen a boy and a girl running around here?" one of the cops said. "No" said will. I jumped out of the shadows. "Yes!" Will looked at meand gave me the look, i gave him the innocent smile.

i think that guy has something to tell you. I said, pointing to will. And will launched into hsi story.

then stopped." Maybe we should go downtown, its kinda long." will said. The cop looked at him, and then looked at me, "Who are you?!" he said pointing, but talking to will more than to me.

he is my brother. We really should go downtown I dont feel really safe here.

"Well you'll have to ride with me so i know you won't get away!" he said ushering us into his car!

"don't worry! we won't!" i told the officer and looking at will to make sure he had the same idea of not escaping! Will nodded!

will told the whole story. not surprisingly, they beleived us. they told us we couldnt leave the country just yet though becuase they might comeup with more questions...

"we understand!" Will said!

we gave the officer our # and then our parents came and our brother and sister (which were our cousins before we were adopted) came and took us home and since it was a long ride home we got to tell them our whole story in detail!

by the time we got home it was almost three in the morning so we all went to bed and the next morning we got a call from Chase's guardians

"Hello, is YN there?" said the gaurdians.
"Yes this is her, why?" i answered.
"We would like to talk to you, and your brother. If you could meet us at Eves coffee shop across the police station, we would like to talk to you both." they replied. I was silent. "If you dont go, we will have you chaased out of the country!" before i could reply, they hung up. I told will what had happened.

i think we should call the cops and have us watched while we're in there. if we get hurt, its worth it. i mean if we dont go, we get hurt, if we do go, we might get hurt, might not. but if we get hurt, the police arrest them, if we dont get hurt, the police have nothing on them!

Will gave me a look of confusion.
"in other words... i tink we should go with police watching us." i said
"Oh okay. I am good with that, lets go tell the police."

We told the police, and everything ws planned out. Whatever these jerks had in mind, it wouldn't work. They had the coffee shop surrounded, but in desguise. I've never been in this kind of situation before. I've only seen it in movies.

but we walked into the musky restaurant, smelling of perfumes and colognes but soon smelling like cigarette smoke. the plce was crowded with toothless drunkies all staring at us, to drunk to realize who i was walking with. we sat at a table with a lady and a man, both dressed in dark colors

We looked at them, and they seemed dark. VERY dark.
Will gave me a look to see if i was ok. I nodded. We walked to the counter. "What will it be?" said the waiter who seemed to be drunk as well. "Umm....tea?" will said. "Tea?" the waiter said, confused. Will stared at him, and the waiter stared back. "Yeah, ever hear of it?" Will said, with a little bit of attitude. "Listen kid, you can LEAVE IF YOUR GONNA BE A WISE GUY!" the waiter said suddenly screaming. "No, thats ok, they are with us." said a voice behind Will and me. I felt a strong hand on my shoulder. I ddidnt dare turn around. We were escorted to a table.

the table wasnt clean at all and it smelled like beer and ashes.

i slid in on one side of the table with Will!I scrunched up as close as i could beside him!I was scared to death!The enviroment was very new for me and it would take some getting use to!Thank God i had Will!We laced our hands together under the table and held on tight!Seconds later a loud voice boomed and then got quieter as it got closer to us!

a man appeared behind us and took both of our shoulders in his massive hands. He had a ciggar hanging loosly out of his mouth, and he smelled of some kind of very strong cologne. O felt my head begin to spin and soon i was so dizzy that i could barely walk.
